My Rose? The Fox? Huh: Lessons You Can Learn from Little Prince

This is one of the lines from the new movie Little Prince, which i recently watched. It’s where the adult prince, now thrown into the modern world, forgets his childhood. Sadd. You should never forget yours for it taught you great lessons. Directed by Mark Osborne (and his son Riley was the voice of the prince!) this film is perfect for the young and young at heart.

Did someone say lessons? Well, you’re right. Here are some timeless lessons and after the movie, you can take art ones too! Trust me the art tech is better than ever.

“I must endure the presence of a few caterpillars if I wish to become acquainted with the butterflies.”              This lesson has been acquired with many stories such as The Ugly Duckling and…you guessed it The Little Prince! Just have patience with the struggles you are facing in life right now, princesses of all age. In the end, something beautiful will come out.

“You become responsible, forever,
for what you have tamed.”                  How you tend your relationships is all up to you and you have the end result. Know what to do with the people who enter your life for ”friends are the family you choose”. If they pressure or pester you then it’s your problem too not just yours.

“You’re beautiful, but you’re empty.
No one could die for you.”                     Sometimes we get preoccupied with our outside appearance we forget what’s inside. Good thing i realized this before it was too late–i didn’t care if i failed or what as long as i was pretty. Big mistake. Tsk! What is a pretty face without intelligence? Besides it doesn’t last forever. No matter how many comments i get that i’m pretty and like a star it won’t matter much. No matter how intimidated people are lol jk.
